The South Downs MG Car Club is a club for MG owners and enthusiasts that is affiliated to the MG Car Club. ( www.mgcc.co.uk

Membership is open to owners of all types of MG, from classics to the more modern models, and any enthusiasts who aspire to owning an MG one day.

For £6pp per annum membership fee you can enjoy car runs, car shows and social functions throughout the year. Our events page will give you an idea of what we get up to!

Membership fee (as agreed at the AGM) is now due, please pay either Treasurer -Tony Dalby or Dennis Webb; cash or cheque payable to South Downs MG Club.

Meetings (Natters) are held on the 2nd Monday of every month at Herstmonceux Castle on the Wartling Road, just off the A271. (http://www.herstmonceux-castle.com) If the barrier is down, follow the instructions given, and the barrier will be raised.

Once barrier is raised, drive down the hill, past the Castle and turn right at the junction then continue ahead to the car park. Entry is made via the building entrance way, tell the receptionist you are from the  MG club, and you will be given directions to the bar. The members gather in the bar from 7.30pm onwards until it is known which room we are using. The Club has the privilege of using the facilities which may vary from meeting to meeting, so please stay in the bar until told which room we will be using.

The meeting will start at 8.30pm.


A simple natter is held on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 8pm in The British Queen , The Triangle in Willingdon.
